Ok, ok, its raining like hell now. Mark one up for the prognosticators of weather. When you predict rain over three days, I guess the chances that you will be right one of those days has got to improve. I hope its not raining in Louisville tomorrow afternoon.
The "sun should always shine bright" on Derby Day. Otherwise your dates's chapeau might get wet and your julep might get overly watered down. [The only real way to control that is to make your own and don't depend on the purveyors of juleps at Churchill Downs]
The one thing I would like to try sometime is the Burgoo feast on the Sunday after Derby Day for the Kentucky Colonels. I might grow a little mustache and beardlet for it if I could.
Some day Cindy and I will go. I promise.
