Dogs are running loose!
Going where they please;
Doing what they will.
Humans are being terrorized!
We have lost our last friends
And now we have to rely on each other:
We have no one else to blame.
The dogs only perform the tricks we taught them.
The horror!
Will we be the ones wearing the collars?
Upon whom will we rely for our daily kibble?
And the cats will ignore it all
For in their secret thoughts
Hidden behind their narrowing eyelids
They know they are in charge.
They are their own creatures
And don't care.
